Background & Challenge
The goal was a relaxing arcade game anyone can learn in seconds, with enough to do (stunts, chases, missions and upgrades) to keep players riding for a few minutes or a whole evening.
Our Solution
We built Oceanic Bliss around one-tap controls: tap to jump off a wave, hold to backflip, and let go in time to land, with every backflip adding a burst of speed. A full day and night cycle and drifting weather play out across six zones of sea life, from the Sunny Lagoon to The Deep Blue. Ride long enough and the Shadow Rider gives chase. Power-ups, 18 jet ski skins, daily missions, a 7-day gift streak and an ad-free Zen Mode round out the game, set to calm music and ocean sounds.
Results & Impact
Published on Google Play as a free-to-play game rated for everyone (3+). It is funded by optional rewarded ads and in-app purchases: coin packs, a Starter Pack with an exclusive skin, and Remove Ads, which also unlocks Zen Mode.
