Background & Challenge
The goal was to give the classic snake game a fresh, local theme: quick runs anyone can play with one swipe, with enough progression (zones, upgrades and a daily challenge) to keep players coming back.
Our Solution
Sawit Operation turns the snake into a bulldozer that leaves a trail of oil palms as it clears the plantation hectare by hectare. Cash pickups build a combo up to x5, and gold money is worth five times as much. Each zone brings its own hazards: orangutans at the Forest Edge, an inspector on your tail in the village at dusk, and spreading fires in the Peat Swamp. Permits bulldoze through obstacles, and upgrades such as Starting Permits, Cash Magnet and Combo Time carry over between runs. A Daily Challenge gives everyone the same map, with Google Play Games leaderboards for the daily and all-time best, 8 achievements, a tutorial, 6 bulldozer skins (including 24K Gold with a glitter trail) and a 7-day Daily Gift.
Results & Impact
Published on Google Play as a free game rated for everyone (3+), with over 1,000 downloads. It is funded by optional ads (watch one to continue a run, double your profit or get free cash) and in-app purchases: a Starter Pack, cash packs and Remove Ads.
